There are three convenient options such as cabs and shared ride vans. Here is a list of how to attain use of each one and some of the service providers. Cab services can be booked inside the airport or find one outside, with prices to and from the school at low rates each way. Some of the cab providers are Bell Cab, Yellow Cab, and City Cab.

Vehicle rentals can be booked in advance or inside the airport. Be sure to pay attention to age restrictions, car use policies, and know that prices range between more than just providers but also between vehicle make and model.

Shuttles are becoming a more common form of transportation for students. Carpooling from the airport usually costs not more than fifteen dollars each way. Students and/or visitors should book this service in advance to ensure a van will be waiting and have room for the rider and their belongings. There are two services to choose from: AirportShuttles.com and Prime Time. Comparable in prices, check for availability from your gate and to your gate when leaving the school and you should find a ride to the school and/or airport with no problem.

USC is located near downtown LA. Over the past decade LA’s downtown area has continued to grow and attract more students and visitors. Hungry? Choose from your traditional fast food joints or try something new.

Restaurants like: Mignon, Big Wangs, Casey’s Irish Pub, Yard House, Lemonade, Urth Caffe, and Bottega Louie offer new tastes, experience, and culture. With plenty of restaurants located in Downtown, University Park, Exposition Park, and Korea town, “What do you want for dinner?” just became a much harder question to answer.

Downtown offers shopping and entertainment in modern and fun venues. The Downtown Art Walk offers outdoor vendors, food trucks, and street performers. There are vintage stores like ReVamp, bookstores, even anime themed stores like Q Pop Shop, all located down town. USC’s location allows for the university to give their students and visitors more than tours and education but also life experience.
