About the Tampa Convention Center
The Tampa Convention Center is 600,000 square feet of the best event space in the country, with waterfront views and right next door to the Sail Pavilion, downtown’s hottest spot. Their exhibit hall is 200,000 square feet and can accommodate up to 1,000 booths or be broken down into 25,000 square foot sections for smaller gatherings. Each square foot of floor space has a weight capacity of 350 pounds. Four cafes are situated inside the hall to make concessions as convenient as possible.
Their Ballroom is 36,000 square feet and divides into four sections if desired. When used as exhibit space it holds 170 booths, or host a banquet there for over 2,000 people. There are 36 additional meeting rooms, 10 of which boast waterfront views. In addition, there is 84,000 square feet of pre-function space that is perfect for registration or simply doing a little social networking in between sessions.
Twenty-two covered bays are on the exhibit hall level, making loading and unloading a breeze in any type of weather. The meeting rooms and ballroom on the first level have 4 bays of their own and a 10,000 pound freight elevator provides easy transfer of equipment between the two floors.
