The Seward Terminal and Harbor
Your ship will moor at the Dale R. Lindsey Alaska Railroad Intermodal facility, known to locals as the regular cruise ship dock. After directly tying to the dock, guests are free to explore the variety of charming local attractions, including convenient access to art galleries, gift shops, wonderful restaurants and various comfortable accommodations.

The sparkling spring in May right up until cool September is known to locals as cruise ship season, where many vessels come and go from the harbor for luxury week-long and fortnightly Alaska cruise holidays, round the world trips and specialty charters.

Arrival and Departure at Seward
Arriving early? No problem! Seward has convenient baggage storage options available locally so that you can stretch your land legs and get a glimpse at all the wonderful sites and attractions around town. After check-in, travel just a short distance into town and take advantage of all the sights to behold. There are numerous galleries, shops and eateries to explore while you take in some of the local culture.

Upon disembarking, you can pickup your luggage easily right here in the cruise ship terminal. Local businesses offer different options for storing and transporting your luggage, as storage and carts are not offered by the terminal itself. If you have reservations for the nighttime train that heads to Anchorage, you can check-in at the train depot and check your bags there.
