|Port of Juneau Shuttles|
||Hopefully you have enjoyed your cruise to Alaska, and now you will be cruising into the Alaskan Capital of Juneau. Juneau has not direct roads leading to it, so it is the only U.S. State Capital that you can only get to by boat or plane.|
The Glacier Gardens flourish in this rainforest locale. You can take a guided tour in a golf cart, and you’ll even see upside down trees. If you’re craving some adventure, Juneau has plenty of choices. Take a helicopter ride for an aerial view of the Juneau Icefield or the Mendenhall Glacier. Mendenhall is the state’s most accessible glacier. The Mendenhall Glacier is an ice river that is twelve miles long. You might even see a bear in the area.
You may want to zipline in the nearby mountains or take a whale watching excursion to see a Humpback up close. You can even tour a Juneau mine and try panning for gold. The mine tours will give you a history of how gold put Juneau on the map. After all your adventures in Juneau, you can take the shuttle back to the ship and relax.
