Old Town Airport Shuttle Service
It can be said that Old Town is a little more laid back then it was in their heyday during the 60's. You won't find a rallies and demonstrations or even protest for that matter on a daily basis. In the way of events you can look forward to the Old Town Art Fair in June. Visitors to the fair can enjoy music, good food, and immerse themselves in creativity.

Old Town
Old Town shuttle to the airport
Old Town was the leader of Chicago’s cultural movement in the 60’s. Old Town was the stomping ground for the Chicago Seven. Now this neighborhood is a family oriented area with an abundance of historic character which is a great first for tourists, so order shuttles to ORD airport and you won't be dissapointed.
About Old Town
Old Town is home to a plethora of historic Victorian era buildings. North Town, as it was known after World War II was renamed Old Town in 1948 when the residence of the area decided they wanted to address the condition of the neighborhood and restore many of the decapitated building that were suffering from deterioration.

Old Town is bounded by Larrabee Street, Clybourn Avenue, Division Street, and Clark Street. The neighborhood is small and very close to downtown making walking a great way to complete errands. Most Chicagoans in the area have their own cars as most homes also have private garages. Some will have access to alley parking while some will need a city parking sticker so that they can park on the street. Some of the streets are restricted by certain hours while others offer metered parking. Old Town is one of the view neighborhoods where you can actually walk over to one of the main streets and hail cab.

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) also offers services in the area with services on the “EL.” The station is at North Avenue and Sedgwick and either the Brown or Purple line run downtown on the same elevated track.

In the late 1970’s many of the building in Old Town were granted historic landmark status. Residential options vary from stone townhouses, brick row houses, workman’s cottages, to 3- and 4- story condominiums. The family oriented neighborhood comes complete with tree lined streets. It is also very common to see neighbors chatting on their stoops or patios, Children being pushed in a swing, or streets closed for a summer block party.

The night life in Old Town is very quaint and has the home time feel (where everybody knows your name). Family owned bars like The Glunz Tavern or The Old Town Ale House praised by critic Robert Ebert. One of the best comedy theater in Chicago, The Second City, where The Blues Brothers (John Belushi and Dan Aykrod) Tina Fey Mike Myers and Martin Shorts did stand up before becoming famous. Better yet head over to Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding a theatrical experience like you’ve never seen; where you and other guest take part in a zany wedding reception.
