They have no electricity, plumbing, or any modern conveniences on their island. Their shell leis are considered the finest in Hawaii. About the Kauai Cruise Port Nawiliwili Harbor The downside to Kauai Port is that Nawiliwili Harbor has a very narrow entrance. The waters there often prove dangerous. If the cruise ship arrives during high winds or when there are high swells, the captain may decide not to enter the harbor.
