The university has been established since 1870 and students come from all over the globe to attend. Approximately 24,000 students are involved in undergraduate studies while the remaining 4400 are in graduate studies. The Area of Fort Collins
There are several microbreweries throughout Fort Collins and this leads to the Colorado Brewer’s Festival being held every June in the city, where there may be as many as 45 brewers from around the state and it is attended by approximately 30,000 people.
Beyond the beer culture, there are many other things to do, including the Fort Collins Museum, the Center for Fine Art Photography, various performing arts centers, as well as various recreational opportunities outdoors. The Colorado Marathon is also run every year inside of Fort Collins.
