|McCormick Place is ideally the largest convention center in all of North America. It comprises of 4 interconnected buildings situated just near the shores of Lake Michigan, 2.5 miles south of Chicago, IL.
Chicago South Loop Hotel located just 0.9 miles from the convention center is the second closest accommodation. This midscale hotel consists of 5 floors and 232 rooms. It doesn’t have a swimming pool but features free Internet, parking and a fitness center. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
Getting to McCormick Place is very easy and efficient by using Chicago’s transit system. A regular bus service from the Chicago Transit Authority CTA runs every 15 minutes to the convention center as well as other destinations in and around the city. METRA, the city’s electric commuter railroad connects downtown Chicago with the convention center every 7 minutes. Taxis and shuttles are available from different areas in Chicago as well as from Chicago’s O’Hare International to the convention center.

McCormick Place is located at 2301 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, just 2.5 miles to the south of downtown Chicago. There are numerous interesting surroundings to keep visitors intrigued.
