The Charlotte Convention Center was opened in 1995 and is among the most visually appealing convention centers in the United States. The convention center has more than 280,000 square feet of world-class exhibit area that can be divided in to four exhibition halls. The facility has two enormous ballrooms and a large ballroom terrace that will suit the largest of conventions. The Convention Center ballroom is 35,000 square feet and can be configured to comfortably seat 1800 for dining or 1748 for a classroom.
