About the York Expo Center There are several components to the York Expo Center, each with their own benefits. The Utz Arena is designed to showcase performances and other events that require a stage and prefer an indoor venue. The Grandstand, located outside, provides a much larger space and more seating and is best for athletic events and large-scale outdoor performances. There are two Memorial Halls, Memorial Hall East and Memorial Hall West, that serve as general exhibition halls, although the West hall has a stage and can be used as an indoor performance venue if necessary. The Horticulture Hall and the Heritage Hall are most commonly used in exhibitions and trade shows because they offer a large, unencumbered space in which to set up trade show and exhibition booths. They are available to large groups as well as to small ones as the venue’s schedule permits. Finally there is a banquet and conference center. This space provides a more elegant and sophisticated look compared to the more utilitarian halls and is ideally suited for banquets and special events. The venue can help connect visitors with approved outside vendors for special occasions. No matter what your specific needs are, you are likely to find a space that suits you at the York Expo Center. Things to do in York The York County Historical Trust also operates in York. They maintain several museums and historical buildings and sites that are open to the public to help foster an understanding of the area’s role in American history, particularly in the Revolutionary War. York also offers entertainment for sports enthusiasts via two sports teams. The York Revolution is a baseball team in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
