About Saint-Louis Airport
It is an ideal home base for travelers headed to any of these countries. Although EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, airport code MLH, is located in Saint-Louis, France, it houses both French and Swiss immigration authorities, making it an excellent destination for travelers who want to see all of Europe.
MLH also serves as a base for Swiss International Airlines, Swiss European Airlines, and easyJet Switzerland, and as a result it provides international flights to many major European destinations. Additionally, with the recent return of European budget airline RyanAir, MLH has become a hub for visitors to Germany, Switzerland, and France. At the crossroads of three of Europe’s most prosperous regions (French Alsace, Northwest Switzerland, and German Baden Württemberg), MLH provides constant service to visitors to and from this tri-national area.
MLH Airport Terminals
The airport is divided in half, with incoming and outgoing flights to the French and Swiss divisions of the airport separated on either side of the Y-shaped terminal. Information desks, currency exchange and car rentals among other services are offered on both sides of the airport. Furthermore, as an international airport, signage and direction is provided in a multitude of languages, included French, German, and English.
Saint-Louis Area Hotels
The five-star hotels Grand Hotel Les Trois and Hotel Hilton Basel are scenic hotels located near the center of Basel, and both provide airport transfers. A stay in Basel provides the most convenient access to the airport.
