For something fun to do if you have a long wait between flights located to the north of the airport is the Regina Casino it has a show lounge, poker room, and table games. You could stop for a bite to eat at one of the four eateries located in the terminal, if you do not wish to go through security check again there is the Tim Horton, serving hot and cold sandwiches, beverages, Street Side Café or the Gateway Lounge they serve alcohol and limited snacks.
The terminal building is open twenty four hours a day seven days a week and 365 days a year. Check the serving times and open hours of the vendors you wish to visit. There are ATM’s located around the airport and a currency exchange kiosk that dispenses Canadian, American, and Euro’s and British pounds. There are duty free shops and Rumor Handcraft displaying local arts and wares.
Since it is the beginning of the Holiday Season, please visit Regina, to see some of the Holiday events that are planned. Santa Comes to town on December 7 this is a free event and one you will enjoy. The temperature is right at or above freezing this time of year so bundle up and order hot chocolate after you return to your room and warm up.
