Northeast Washington D.C. Airport Shuttle Service
Airport transportation from Reagan International airport to Union Station is served by The Metrorail and Taxi. If coming from BWI airport you will have to catch Amtrak or MARC train line. Washington International is served by Taxi and shared-van service. All three of these airports serve the Washington D. C. Area. Northeast is the name of the area and neighborhood that is located near and includes the Capitol Hill area. The area is mostly residential but includes some fantastic areas and things to see. The main transportation hub is located in this area which is called Union Station.
About Northeast Washington D.C.
Union Station is the main transportation hub in D.C. and every mode can be found here. It is a train station and a shopping mall all in one. There are also cultural events inside the building. Union Station is the most visited attraction in D.C.. There is shopping and food located within this beautiful old structure. Over 100 stores are located here.

You can find lots of variety in restaurants at Union Station. They include affordable meals like Johnny Rockets, Pizzeria Uno, McDonald’s and subway along with many others. Union Station has a lot of public transportation to choose from including Amtrak, MARC train, VRE and the Washington Metro train.

The neighborhood also includes a very hip up and coming area called NoMa which stands for North of Massachusetts avenue. The area is a hip area with bars, original food and other nightlife. It is also home to some great summer festivals including music and film. There are some great facilities for bicycles. There are bike sharing stations everywhere.

Northeast Washington D.C. Hotels
This is a great area to stay in a Hotel because a lot of attractions are within walking distance nearby. The Holiday Inn Capitol is very affordable and has 4 star rating. You are within two tenths of a mile from major attractions like The National Museum of Art. Embassy Suites DC Convention center is more upscale and comes with a free breakfast. It is also located close to lots of attractions like Chinatown. There really are lots of varieties of hotels in this area to choose from and you can see lots of attractions.

Northeast Attractions really are very close with Capitol Hill located nearby. Museums are everywhere in this area. Some places that are a must see are the National Air and Space Museum, The National Museum Of American Art, Smithsonian and the National Museum Of Art. Of course if you are looking for nightlife, live music and art then NoMa mentioned earlier is the place to be. The feel of this renaissance area of old buildings can be a lot of fun.
