Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area, and Owl Creek Pass and Silver Jack Reservoir are just some of the outdoor treasures you can visit, while there are multiple museums, a Farmer’s Market, and plenty of boutiques and shops to Montrose to check out.
The Airport has been in service since the 1940s. The Montrose Regional Airport was officially dedicated the 25th of June, 1988. This airport hosts two runways, the second being constructed in the 1990s. The Montrose Regional Airport provides full ticket counters, offices, and baggage facilities for each of the airlines.
