The Kentucky Exposition Center is located at the junctions of Interstates 65 and 264 making it easy to get to from any direction. There are more than 19,000 parking spaces available and parking is affordable. For those flying into the city, the Center is located directly across from the airport. City buses are available to travel from the Center to the airport or downtown, as well as to various hotels throughout the city.
About Louisville Convention Center
When it opened in 1956, the Kentucky Exposition Center was the largest facility of its kind, boasting an arena, two exhibit wings, a livestock pavilion and a stadium. A golf course, restaurant, hotel, and motor speedway were also included. Since then they have grown to their current size, offering 720,000 square feet of Class A space, all on ground level. Their two arenas have flexible layouts and their 54 meeting rooms can accommodate groups of any size, ranging from 590 to 25,000 square feet. In addition to their vast indoor space, they also have 300 acres of outdoor space available for exhibitions and demonstrations.
