Things to do in Lake Havasu City
Don’t let the seclusion fool you, there is plenty to do in Lake Havasu City: swimming at the beach, boating, cycling, fishing, casinos, golf, hiking, off-roading, shopping, and if that is not enough there really is more.
You won’t be able to hang 10, but you can swim and boat in Lake Havasu. The only advisory is not to swim in Bridgewater Channel, but you can definitely stick your feet in the water there and get wet. Swimming across the channel is a illegal and punishable. The Havasu Landing Resort & Casino has over 240 slots including penny slots, video poker and keno, blackjack, and 3-card poker.
The casino closes at just after midnight during the week and at 2:30 a.m. on the weekends. There is plenty of shopping at the London Bridge Shops but if that’s not enough the Island Fashion Mall is not far away from the bridge and you can have a bite to eat while shopping. The shops at Lake Havasu also have staple stores like Dillard’s, JC Penney’s, Kirklands, PetSmart, and Wal-Mart.
Lake Havasu City Restaurants
Have a great time at BJ’s Cabana and Karaoke Bar. They have a DJ from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., and happy hours. When there’s no karaoke its because the UFC fights are on. BJ’s also has 2 pool tables, 16 TV’s, and a patio.
