Things to do in Janesville
There are two golf courses owned by the city: Riveride Golf Course(18-hole) and Blackhawk Golf Course (9-hole). Golf digest has rated Riverside with a 3 star rating and it was named number 47 on the top 100 best values in public golf courses.

Reservations must be made 10 days in advance either by phone or in person. Take a tour of the history and heritage that Janesville has to offer. Another great adventure is to hike the Ice Age trail.

There are few fast food restaurant chains in Janesville: Dairy Queen, Papa John’s Pizza, Subway, Little Caesars, McDonalds, and Pizza Hut. The New King Wok serves Asian inspired dishes like Lo Mein, Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and Thai cuisines. They have an authentic looking Asian atmosphere and food is reasonable priced.

O’Riley and Conway’s is an Irish pub-ish Restaurant that has an great wine list and some terrific ale. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Kids can dine from their little leprechaun’s menu.

Janesville Hotel Shuttles
Many of the chain hotels are located on I-90: Mote 6, Hampton Inn, Ramada, Econo Lodge, and Super 8 just to name a few. The closes luxury hotel is the Double Tree by the Hilton located in Madison. The hotel is near Lake Monona and Lake Mendota.
