||The I-Wireless Center in Moline is an exciting venue for all different events, from weddings to concerts, business conferences to even monster truck rallies. This location is a unique place, where you could potentially see an exciting rock concert or high-energy live wrestling event, or schedule a large, dynamic business event, or the wedding of your dreams.|
Public transport around the city is available through Quad Cities MetroLINK system, which has many stops in popular areas. The Channel Cat water taxi offers a unique method of travel in the Mississippi River, with four stops at major points of interest. And for guided tours, check out the Loop Route, a bus tour that provides visitors with a scenic trip through the city in red-carpet style.
About the I Wireless Center
It is also the home arena of the Quad City Mallards, where sports fans can enjoy all the action up close from the sidelines. The I-Wireless Center has a concert arena, conference center, and banquet halls with many different accommodations. The conference center is a wonderful place to host an event for up to 500 guests.
Ideal for weddings, the center provides a large room with covered tables, cake table, gift table, chairs, and a large dance floor. Exclusive on-site catering is provided by the luxurious Levy Restaurant staff, and the room will be set up by the center’s event staff. The center also provides a lovely outdoor setting alongside the Mississippi River, for those planning an open-air occasion. The conference center is also provides six different conference rooms and two classrooms, suitable for all sizes of fundraisers, charity events, and business affairs.
For music and presentations, the center provides a state of the art sound system and a variety of audio-visual equipment available for rental, including projector screens, microphones, flip charts, lighting and televisions. In addition to weddings and business events, the I-Wireless Conference Center is also a great location for large banquet dinners, and each banquet room is provided with tables, chairs, and a podium/lectern for addressing your guests.
There are many attractions and other points of interest just a short distance from the I-Wireless Center. The historic John Deere Pavilion is the headquarters of the famous tractor company. Started in 1837, this interesting museum is a fun adventure for people of all ages. One of Quad City’s most beloved museums, the JD Pavilion is settled on a sprawling farm land with a beautiful walking trail and scenic pond. Check out farm machinery throughout the decades, fill up on some great café food and spend some time outside feeding the ducks and geese with the kids.
For more outdoor fun, you won’t want to miss out on a relaxing river cruise. Celebration River Cruises are a local favorite, providing interesting all-day trips from Moline to Dubuque, Iowa, for some fresh air on the water. And if you’re interested in some cultural flavor, head on over to the fascinating Belgian Cultural Center of Western Illinois. The Belgian Museum of the Quad Cities has a unique and vast array of documents, artifacts and archival material for genealogy. There are daily demonstrations of cultural arts such as traditional lace making, translations in the Belgian language, and a quaint gift shop.
