About Helena Airport
There is a rich gold history dotting Helena’s past. Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart both landed in Helena, Montana. Earhart was working on a contract for Northwest Airlines. Lindbergh participated in a parade for the first Air Meet that was held in Montana. Katherine Stinson earned her way into being a postal employee by flying overhead and dropping mail over the Post Office. Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines all have terminals at Helena, Regional Airport.
