About Ogden Eccles Conference Center
This facility provides a wide ranges of services to the Ogden community. The first floor of the Eccles Conference Center contains a ballroom with a total square footage of more than 5700 square feet. This ballroom can be divided into three separate ballrooms without losing the elegance and sophistication of the whole. The ballrooms can also be combined to make two ballrooms, a large one and a small one, to further accommodate the needs of the guests.
The first floor also contains three meeting rooms that can be combined to make one large room, two smaller rooms, or three regular sized rooms. The first floor also has the executive meeting room which can be used for boardroom meetings. A lounge and adjacent courtyard serve as both a casual meeting place and a site for cocktail parties or other small receptions.
The second floor of the conference center has a grand ballroom that measures a total of 13,776 square feet. This ballroom can be divided into up to five separate ballrooms, all of which can be accessed and used independently of the others. The second floor also contains more meeting rooms, including three separate meetings rooms that can be combined for a grand total of 3,168 square feet or left as they are.
Things to do in Ogden
The area beyond the cliffs provides some of the best bouldering sites in the area. The mountains east of Ogden are popular ski destinations and there are three ski resorts in this area: Snowbasin, Powder Mountain and Wolf Mountain. Ogden is also known for its kayaking. The city is home to two rivers, the Ogden and the Weber, both of which are ideal for kayaking in the spring, summer and fall. Ogden is one of the premiere destinations for outdoor activities and natural exploration.
