|Chiang Mai Airport Shuttles
|Chiang Mai is located in northern Thailand and is full of history and charm. You will be sure to find plenty to see and do as it is the biggest city in northern Thailand.
Once you are at your hotel and you want to get around there are many options. You can take a TukTuks- are 3-wheeled motorized bicycle/motorcycle taxi. They are found all over the city. Tuk Tuks are usually found outside of hotels and shops so they are really easy to find. The other option is to take a Songthaews, they are cheaper than Tuk Tuks and normally cost about 15 baht or 46 cents USD.
Songthaews are like buses so they make drops as they go so it will take a while for you to get to your destination. Samlors also still roam the street and offer tours of the city they are the same price as Tuk Tuks. A Samlor is a 3-wheeled bicycle. There are also private transportation options like hiring a car with a driver or renting a motorbike. If you plan to operate a motor vehicle in Chiang Mai then you will need to make sure you know the strict operating laws set forth by the Department of Land Transportation.
