You can take a guided tour of Ted Turner’s news world. If you are wanting dinner, there are over seven different restaurants located in the Georgia World Congress Center. The whole design is truly a marvel. It is convenient, beautiful and a compliment to the Atlanta area.

Transportation is very easy to come by. The MARTA system is the transit system. It carries you all around the metro Atlanta area. The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is also serviced by the MARTA system. It will take you directly to the Georgia World Congress Center.

The Georgia World Congress Center is also a leader in Second Harvest. They donate over 30,000 pound of food each year to food banks and shelters in the state of Georgia. This has brought them world recognition for the philanthropic outreach.

The Georgia World Congress Center is owned by the state of Georgia. They wanted a space where a boat show and a debutante could both feel welcomed. They also wanted to keep the integrity of the local parks in the downtown Atlanta area. Atlanta had invested a great amount of money into this area.
