Spend the morning with a stroll through the Artisans Angkor, a cool souvenir shop that showcases only the best in locally made Cambodian works of art in a scenic setting, the slightly further ANM Khmer Market host to a similar setting but in the evening, with hundreds of shops offering their best in food, clothing and photo-friendly ambiance. A more grandiose evening setting can be discovered along the famous Pub Street Siem Reap, a glittery neon-lit stretch of shops and vibrant nightlife walking distance from the casual waterfront paths along the Siem Reap River. A vast 11th-century temple surrounded by well-maintained structures can also be found on the far north side of town, attractions including a pyramid, forest-shrouded temple and Buddhist island.
