HEL airport transfers

A massive port city and economic producer for Finland, the capital city of Helsinki is a gorgeous metropolis made up of a series of islands, ferries departing from three separate terminals toward its sister city of Tallinn, Estonia. Along these ferry terminals is the Helsinki West Harbour Cruise Terminal, located on the southwest side of town along a relatively undeveloped plot of urban land. Instant transfers into the city are available through both the Länsiterminaali T2 Bus Station as well as the slightly further Länsiterm. T2 Light Rail Station. Idyllic ways of seeing the terrain can also be done through an array of private rentals ranging from simple sedans offering intimate views to passersby as well as large chartered buses that can carry a couple dozen to the forests of Sipoonkorpi National Park. Meet-and-greet services add to the convenience with drop offs to wherever, whether it be casual taxis that can get back to the cruise terminal in time for take off, or a local personal driver who knows the value of taking things slow.

Cruise attendees will find their ship arriving to the city’s festive West Harbour district, fun things to do in the vibrant southwest neighborhood including the vast shopping & eating halls across Kauppakeskus Ruoholahti as well as a few select waterside restaurants like the Faro Channelside Bar & Restaurant. Hop aboard the Ruoholahti Subway Station for underground transfers toward the quiet western island region of Drumsö, an often overlooked part of Helsinki home to greenbelts leading to hidden beaches and parks. Take the subway east for more urban adventures, landmark locales including the 1960s-era Temppeliaukion Church, an experimental feat of architecture known for its partial rock wall, surrounding getaways near the church including the classic nationalist culture told at The National Museum of Finland as well as vast all-in-one exhibits of botany and geology at the Finnish Museum of Natural History. And to the evening on a sound note, relax at Hietaniemi Beach before returning to the ship, looking forward to sunset as well as beach-side eats from Bistro Badenbaden.
