If you don’t want to walk there are two main bus companies: Lothian and First; the latter being privately operated. A single ticket on the Lothian is $2.44 USD £1.50 . If you change buses, you have to pay again unless you have an all day ticket, expect to pay $5.69 USD £3.50 . There is a tramway in St. Andrews square to the city centre and the airport. If you want to get out of the city, there are coach buses and a train line. You can always rent a car or catch a taxi.
