Labeled as new York’s and new England’s major air center, the Albany International Airport has a vast range of facilities and services available for travelers. The airport code is ALB and is located at the junction between highway 90 and 87, spanning about 1,200 acres.
The airport is operated 24 hours a day with a parking lot capable of holding over 5,000 vehicles and has a terminal measuring 230,000 square feet. It was during the year 1999 when the airport officially opened their new parking garage, which is capable of holding 1600 vehicles. Additionally, an 800-car parking area was opened in the year 2001.
