Currently our hotel is undergoing a landmark restoration project - a top-to-bottom makeover where classic style will meet the contemporary attitude of this legendary property built in 1965. Phases involve isolated sections of the hotel and intermittent activity on the outdoor Terrace Level grounds. The pool will be closed for the 2009 season and re-open in 2010. Our fully restored full-service hotel in Washington DC offers something for everyone whether planning a family vacation attending a conference at the Walter E.
