About Streeterville
Some of the tallest skyscrapers can be found in this neighborhood including the John Hancock Tower. There is even a Northwestern University campus in the Streeterville neighborhood.

Streeterville is home to one of the most visited attractions in Chicago, the Navy Pier and it is also home to the John Hancock observatory (the 8th most visited attraction). The Navy Pier is about 3 thousand feet long, built in 1916 as a cargo facility today it is a great family attraction. Some of the activities include sightseeing tours, water taxi services, cruises, the Flower and Garden Show, and seasonal festivals for Halloween and Christmas. The Pier also has fireworks on Memorial and Labor day.

The main housing options for Streeterville are high-rise condo, apartments, and penthouse suites. The space in downtown is precious and hard to come by. Renters can expect to pay from $1500 to $10,000 in this area. Although high-rises seem to be the theme there are some 3 and 4 story brown and graystone available for owners and renters.

The shopping can range from average to very upscale with sotes like Niketown, the Disney Store, the Apple store, Louis Vuitton, and Nieman Marcus. Eateries range from fast food to luxury dining establishments. The best of which are Emilio’s Tapas Sol y Nieve, Riva’s, Bubba Fump Shrimp, and the Signature Room.
