I have been to Atlanta airport a few times. The terminal is sooo long :) Don't get there to late at night and miss the moving trams.

Tips at Atlanta Airport

I found that if you use the t-gate checkpoint instead of using the main checkpoint you can get through faster. The main gate services 5 concourses.
