Portsmouth International Airport or PSM airport lies less than two miles from the heart of the city of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Portsmouth International once served as a military base airport for the Air Force but now services the Army National Guard. Though the airport spans more than 3,000 acres, it services only one major airline, Allegiant Air, in addition to the military flights. It has also served as a landing space for NASA orbiters for an emergency landing. There is one main terminal with two gates.
