About Kearny
The land varies in topography, one third is uplands, one third is meadowlands and the other portion is called Kearny Point. Kearny is separated from other towns by two rivers; the Hackensack and the Passaic River. The town of Kearny is roughly nineteen miles away from New York City and about 45 minutes or so from New York JFK airport. This makes the town of Kearny an ideal location to live and raise a family, yet be able to commute to the big city for work purposes.

 

There are many small parks situated along the sides of the rivers, thus group named, River Park. These parks are ideal for picnics, playing and sightseeing. There are numerous activities and attractions to do when living in or visiting Kearny. There are entertainment hotspots for nightly entertainment and fun. City parks and river parks to play at, beaches and paintball make Kearny a fun place to stay.

Hilton, Best Western and Hampton all have hotels in the direct area and provide numerous amenities for their registered guests. Hotels range in price and ratings; however, there is comfort and relaxation in all. Transportation is never an issue for visitors to the area. There are airport shuttles and Limousine Service. Taxicab companies such as MexBoys, Gold Lincoln Taxi and also AA Taxi service are ready to provide transportation anywhere visitors want or need to go. For those visitors who prefer the comfort of driving a car themselves, Dollar Rent a Car and Enterprise rental agencies are located close by.
