Jose Marti International Airport is located in the municipality of Boyeros, just 9 miles southwest of Havana, Cuba and only 90 miles south of the Florida Keys.
Taxis are available and located in front of the terminals. If you are taking a taxi one-way from the airport to downtown Havana it can take around 20-30 minutes to get there. Keep in mind that most of the drivers never turn on the meter so it is helpful to settle on a fare up front. Rental Cars are available from agencies located in the arrivals area or outside parking. It is recommended that you book a car rental in advance, as availability stays limited.
